Atelier ATE
Atelier ATE was founded in Paris by two emerging artists; Manon Ajorque and Nicolas Mehdipour. Both with a background in graphic and product design, with the urge to practice art. Manon is an artist who lived in India for several years before moving to Marseille, where she was inspired by the diversity and cultural emulation. Nicolas is a French-Iranian artist, and his double culture leads him to question; paradoxes and sensitivity to injustice, themes often addressed in his work. Their universe and practice explore different media such as photography, paintings, sculpture, and installations dealing with the relationship between humans and society. "Simultaneously, on a canvas, we paint layer by layer by accepting the interventions of each one, by adapting by the covering or by the detour. To arrive at an impacting result, laugh, and sensitivity."
