Born in Ghent, Belgium in 1987, Mats Rombaut, the multi-disciplinary creative force behind ROMBAUT, channels inspiration from art, nature, science, and music. After completing a Master's in Business Administration & Marketing, he pursued fashion design in Barcelona, Spain. It was during his tenure at Lanvin and Damir Doma that he honed his footwear craftsmanship. In 2013, Mats founded ROMBAUT, his first independent endeavor. Today, he stands as the Creative Director and Founder of ROMBAUT, also lending his expertise as a Creative Consultant and Sustainability Advocate. Based in Paris, France, Mats Rombaut continues to innovate and inspire.
