The two artistic minds behind Maran; Mariana & Antonella, share a passion for the Andean culture and sustainability, they live by the principle of reciprocity.
Based in Lima, Peru, through their work, they share the techniques they’ve learnt from their ancestors with the vision to connect and discover what the ancient cultures wanted them to know in the process of awakening the humanity.
The interpretation in every MARAN product reveals elemental forms and laws of the universe, through philosophical knowledge, which is manifested in every design mixing alpaca, beads and quartz to give the carrier a protective energy.
All of the MARAN pieces are hand knitted by Mariana and Antonella, creating unique pieces using only sustainable natural fibers such as alpaca wool- that is not only strong and durable, but has a luxurious softness.
