The Collapse Tee

Designed and constructed based upon Minna Palmqvists’ art project ”No Body” (2015), where five tailor busts were re-constructed and clothes constructed there upon, to break the cycle of garment shapes and body norms being re-created over and over.

This garment is made from leftover deadstock t-shirts, cut apart and re-assembled into skew, collapsing body inserted into a basic boxy tee, creating holes and slits where the shapes collide. Inspired from our No Body mannequin ”The Collapse”.
