Dekhla/Palmqvist
Having studied at Middlesex University, University of the creative arts in London and Swedish School of textiles, they have both gained plenty of experience working in the fashion industry in London and Sweden, where they now both reside.
Linda specializes in crochet, driven by a deep reverence for traditional craftsmanship. She transforms crochet bedspreads and tablecloths into exquisite garments, seamlessly blending the old with the new, preserving heritage while embracing possibilities. Through meticulous deconstruction and creative
reconstruction, she breathes new life into forgotten crochet works, turning them into contemporary and wearable art. Malou is working in stoneware ceramics, formed into ergonomically inclined objects. She constantly pushes the boundaries of the material in an attempt to master and control the collapse. Malous work is
questioning how materials react when they meet; parts that collapse, melts, and gives an illusion of having stopped in the middle of a movement. She has exhibited in plenty of galleries across the country and her sculptures has appeared in a number of publications, from Vogue to Dezeen.
