Imminent Fantasma
Pauline Bernard is an artist born in 1989 near Paris. She studied Arts and Techniques of Jewelry at L’Ecole Boulle in Paris from 2005 to 2011. There, she prepared for the finest jewelry houses. After an internship with Claire Choisne at Place Vendôme where she designed unique pieces for Lorenz Baumer, Pauline enter at L’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs of Strasbourg. She develops a new way to invent stories, on a whole different scale. Those installations she creates are like open poems written in abscissa and ordinate. She materialized them into experimental film and devices.
For several years Pauline will be working with opera scenographer, Antoine Fontaine, or curator of Le jeu de Paume, Pia Viewing, and even for Karl Lagerfeld where she will be designing the sets for a Chanel fashion show with Stefan Lubrina. In 2019, she decided to launch her jewellery studio: Imminent Fantasma. Imminent Fantasma is a polymorphic jewellery creation studio as well in the design, the techniques employed, the artistic collaborations, and the image direction that it wishes to transmit. Photographer, stylist, writer, costume designer, sound writer, make-up & hair artist, scenographer, artist performer, dancer are the active satellite actors of the studio. Through story-telling imagined together, the studio produces high qualities unisex jewellery in small series.
