Alexander Hult
Alexander sees the paintings as a memory fragment that he associates with a place, a situation, a person, or a feeling. The titles play a greater role in these works than in the landscape painting he has previously worked with; he does not want to instantly give away where the motif comes from. The idea is to keep the viewer in front of the painting, to make the viewer take part in the painting process and find traces of it. Perhaps the viewer finds its own associations and recognition factors.
Alexander Hult graduated in 2018 from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
