Alectra Rothschild / MASCULINA is a Danish clothing brand built on the notions of inclusion, craftsmanship, femininity, and high glamour.
Alectra Rothschild is a trained tailor and dressmaker before starting to study fashion design. She studied BA fashion design at Beckmans College of Design in Sweden, MA Fashion program under Fabio Piras at Central Saint Martins, and studied sustainability and fashion at The Royal Danish Academy. During this time Alectra trained with the likes of Iris Van Herpen and Anne Sofie Madsen and got her first job in the fashion industry at Mugler under the creative direction of Casey Cadwallader.
Alectra Rothschild has in the last few years had the pleasure of creating custom looks for international stars like Michéle Lamy, Arca, Yves Tumor, and MØ along with local Scandinavian stars like Jada, Tessa, COBRAH, and Nadia Tehran. ALECTRA ROTHSCHILD / MASCULINA creates all pieces/collections in her studio in Copenhagen - DK, mostly from upcycled materials.
