Secondland

Secondland, a Budapest-based fashion brand, was founded during the pandemic in 2020 by women sharing a vision. Creative director Kinga Réta Vecsei draws inspiration from childhood memories, infusing the brand's style with playful florals reminiscent of her drawings.

Réta's passion for vintage and familial hand-me-downs led to incorporating preloved textiles. Inspired by a trip to Los Angeles, the brand's name, Secondland, signifies a blend of "secondhand" and "La La Land." The motto, "upcycled treasure," reflects a commitment to extending garment lifecycles.

Managing director Katalin Lili Tasnádi, with a background in sustainability and fashion, drives the brand's mission. Embracing Secondland's bohemian aesthetic, Tasnádi's experiences as a mother of two inspire her dedication to sustainability and creativity.
