Lewis is a french designer based in Paris specialized in crochet technique.
« Lewis's characters are written like whirlwinds, carrying everything around them into their intimacy to build themselves. Wrapped up in their solitude, in the hollow of their mesh and lace armor, they never go out without their cocoon - all embroidered, all tailor-made, adapted to their habits. Its openings, small and multiple, or as large as windows, become paradoxical: signs both of a long work of structuring the clothes and of a great fragility. Withdrawn into their world, the characters face the outside with a gentle force, a visual presence against the current. Their deployment is an explosion, a vengeful refusal, a desire to create with their hands and to savor the pleasure of excessive consumption (sentimental, commercial, imaginary). Eccentric and endearing, they combine the energy of inner adolescent rebellion and the warm tranquility of an apple pie fresh out of the oven.
