Rebecka Österlund

Rebecka is currently a second-year student at Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts, and Design, in Stockholm studying Industrial Design. Her designs are defined by expressive colors and soft elegant shapes, like the candle holders in the Forumist store. She has a passion for experimentation and strives for contrasting soft and hard, both material-wise and visual. In her own everyday life, she reflects on the many aspects of homeware decoration and what impact they have on the users. She loves being in the workshop, where she welds, saws, and hammers, as a contrast to sitting at her desk in a relaxed environment where she sketches and makes prototypes.
