Ola Lewczyk
Ola Lewczyk’s work is embedded in traditional craft practices, folk culture, and material research. Working primarily with beeswax, clay, and local materials, they use craft as a tool to explore connections between human and the Other. The element of light, often in the form of fire or the sun, guides their practice as both a material and symbolic force. Five generations of family beekeeping, their candle works are an offering of light, from their hands to hands of the others.
