Johannes Adele
The unisex label Johannes Adele was founded in 2015 by the designer Johannes Leijonberg from northern Sweden and Adele Gillardeau from southern France. Their logotype is made up of the initials “a” and “j” written in morse code.
The production of the clothes is transparent, from where the fabrics come from whether it be Sweden, France, Italy, or India, to where the garments are made. Production is placed in Portugal and the duo pays regular visits to the factory to personally oversee the promise of sustainable quality and workmanship. With the future in mind, awareness and aesthetics go hand in hand for these designers. Original print designs and a large part of the dying are done in-house at the studio in France.
They have a desire to experiment and a will to share something seldom seen in the world of fashion: a beauty more natural and alive than ever before. And this ambition will not be rushed.
