Michaelartz
Hampus Michael Sjöberg (born March 4, 1995), better known as Michaelartz, is a Swedish artist. His works are both abstract and figurative pieces.
In Michaelartz artistry, he works a lot with portraying and capturing an impression of his artistic vision of the world with his views, values, and creative expression. Working mostly with acrylics, but also finding new ways to evolve, express, and creating art. The art practice tends to mold to his environment, due to both external and internal inspiration. Often experimenting with various mediums, materials and colors to find new discoveries in his artistic world.
Artz´s creativity is built upon a palette where color becomes its own language of transformation, be it social, political, or personal. Where the artwork is made with the intention of empowerment, humility, and curiosity. Each artwork becomes a symbol of the inspiration and references of Artz's artistic perspective of society with influences of history, values, and his Swedish origins.
Michael Artz's influences come from painters like David Hockney, Andy Warhol, and Jeff Koons. But also with inspiration from artists and creators like Lady Gaga, and Gianni Versace.
Michaelartz has also an interest in many creative fields like music, fashion, and design.
Over the past years, Michaelartz has worked hard to incorporate his own values into his art. Michaelartz intention with his art is that it should also have influences and issues that are important to him as an artist, such as human rights, LGBTQ rights, spirituality, and people with hearing loss.
