'Tempete' Silk Scarf

The design.
Each season, the ‘GrandBassin’ collection offers new signature scarves following the paths of historical athletes during a competition. This season, the 2 signature patterns are screen printed on high quality twill silk with hand-rolled edges.

The 'TEMPETE' scarf showcases the moves of Kortnee Solomon youngest barrel champion and her horse during the first Black rodeo to air on national broadcast television in 2021. The yellow braid draws their moves on the ivory silk surface while the barrels are sharpening the design with orange highlights.

 The making.
'TEMPETE' is designed and screen printed in Berlin according to luxury standards. The seams of the scarves are stitched by hand using artisanal hand-rolled technique.
