Anonymous Dress

2500 discs are crafted from translucent silicone with black circles of polyester foil into reflective discs. We wrote an algorithm to create the precisely calculated position of each disc, hand-stitched to a mesh that is later attached to the double lining. The discs form a dazzling kinetic dress, lined with black cotton. Translucent beads sewn along with the discs provide more structure. The undergarment is held in position by a set of plastic and metallic boning. This piece is fastened at the back with a zipper, hidden under a mesh flap. 

Material composition: Cotton lining, polyester mesh carrier material, discs from translucent silicone and black polycarbonate, embroidered with silver glass beads.
