Launched in Paris in 2025, MUTAGENE is a fashion and jewellery label founded by Matt Gautier. Positioned between adornment and sculpture, the brand explores transformation as both concept and process, creating pieces that challenge fixed definitions of form, identity, and wearability. Drawing inspiration from metamorphosis, mutation, and the beauty of the in-between, MUTAGENE presents jewellery and garments as evolving objects that interact with the body rather than simply decorate it.
