A.O.A

A.O.A is a Copenhagen-based multi-disciplinary label created by Laura Julie Brage with a background in fine art and architecture with a degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Laura's vision of fashion takes form in a hand-made colourful collection made from surplus fabrics, in a cross-field between art objects and apparel, with the vision to re-value our everyday garments. Vegetable dyes, original prints, local production, and clean season-less shapes, are some of the building stones in this imaginative, sustainable, circular universe of A.O.A.

Laura experiments with new ways of sourcing, reusing, creating, and producing clothes and by being transparent to the process and faces behind, she aims to give clothes a higher value and let the hands who made the clothes be present. Most garments are made in a very limited number, others are made-to-order and all scraps are made into one piece for zero waste.
